Badass Brownies

Badass Brownies is a Christchurch baking business founded by Hannah Airey, who began selling her brownies at markets in 2020 after friends and workmates kept asking for them.

It makes brownies and blondies sold by the slab — 12 slices, roughly 17cm by 27cm — alongside baking mixes to make up at home, with gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options through the range. The mixes have been laboratory tested for traces of gluten and the business is Cross Grain accredited with Coeliac NZ. Products are sold online, through stockists and at markets, including The Pantry at Riverside Market in Christchurch. A good stop for anyone after a treat that works around dietary requirements.
