About Mossberg
O.F. Mossberg & Sons has been making firearms since 1919, when Oscar Frederick Mossberg started the company in New Haven, Connecticut. It is still family owned and run — the oldest family-owned firearms manufacturer in America.
Mossberg is best known for its pump-action shotguns, including the 500 and 590 series, alongside the Patriot centrefire bolt-actions and a range of rimfires. High Country Ballistics stocks the range in New Zealand.
