Sturm, Ruger & Co. was founded in 1949 by William B. Ruger and Alexander McCormick Sturm, and has grown into one of the largest firearms manufacturers in the United States.

The line-up High Country Ballistics carries runs from the 10/22 rimfire — Competition, Magpul Hunter X-22 and Takedown versions — through to the 77 Hawkeye and 77 Scout centrefire bolt-actions and the 77/17 and 77/22 rimfire magnums.
