Whitehorse Cheese

Whitehorse Cheese is a specialty cheesemaker in Waimate, South Canterbury, named after the white horse cut into the Hunter Hills above the town.

Martyn brings over 30 years as a food technologist, microbiologist and cheesemaker; Lynne runs the business side. Between them they've built a range that takes in goat's and sheep's milk styles alongside the cow's milk classics — including a lavender gouda — sold direct, in gift boxes, and as fundraising cheese boxes.
