Canterbury Land Rover Owners Club

You might like to know a little more about CLROC. In spite of its name, it is much more than a one make 4WD club - in fact, membership is open to all makes of four-wheel-drive vehicles with capabilities similar to the Land Rover. We count a large number of Toyota Landcruisers and Hiluxes, Nissan Patrols and other similar vehicles amongst our members as well as Land Rovers, Range Rovers and Discoverys.

Membership currently stands at between 120 and 130 with typically around 40 people attending our monthly meetings. Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month (except January, which is on the 4th Tuesday) at Robbies Bar and Restaurant - 87 Riccarton road (entrance and parking from Nelson st) and run from 7:30pm to about 9:30pm.

Our meetings are a chance for members to get together over a drink and a bite to eat. We briefly report back on what the committee has been working on but the general emphasis is on reporting on recent and forthcoming club trips and activity. We may also have slides, videos or a guest speaker.

We publish a monthly digital magazine which we hope is entertaining and informative and this gives details about forthcoming trips and social events. It carries some advertising of 4WD relevant products and we encourage our members to support the advertisers as they support us.
