Our Story: Huntsman Boats
 
Huntsman Boats was founded in 1992 and has been proudly New Zealand made ever since. We began with the legendary Stingray ski boats and specialised fibreglass repairs, before expanding into popular early models such as the 525 Executive, 525 Sport, and La Plata. The strong demand for these boats led to full-time production of fibreglass powerboats.
The 525 Executive and Sport laid the foundation for the high-performance hull designs we’ve developed over the years. Today, our range spans from 5 to 7.5 metres, offering something for every kind of boating enthusiast. Across the lineup, Huntsman boats are known for their superior handling, outstanding performance, and meticulous attention to design.

In 2012, we launched Huntsman Fibreglass — our dedicated division for high-quality commercial fibreglass products. From automotive and architectural components to signage, equestrian and farming solutions, we deliver custom fibreglass work trusted across industries.
