Before you book

The questions everyone asks.

Can I just buy a ticket at the gate?

You can — door sales open at 9am daily and take cash or EFTPOS. Online tickets are cheaper though, so booking ahead saves money and skips the queue.

Is there parking?

Free on-site parking with 3,000+ spaces, 15 minutes from Cathedral Square. Entry for all visitors is via Curletts Road only — follow the event signage. Accessible parking sits near the main entrance; display your mobility card on arrival.

What if it rains?

Rain or shine, the show goes ahead — and there's no better way to test the gear you're about to buy. Pack a jacket. Cancellation only in extreme weather, and ticket holders get an email if anything changes.

Can I bring the kids?

Under 13s are free with a ticketed adult, and there's a family day out around the tent village — kids' amusements and rides near the food court, face painting, and family seating when everyone needs a sit down.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes — dogs are welcome on a lead. Bring water and clean up after them. It's an outdoor venue with plenty of room to stretch, and step-free flat pathways run between every zone.

Can I actually buy things on the day?

That's the point of walking it. Exhibitors take orders and run show-only specials you won't get at their shop — the official 2026 guidebook lists what each one is bringing.

More — hours, food, accessibility, re-entry — on the visitor page.
